Sometimes it feels like a hurricane
At times it feels like a tidal wave

In the springtime emerges the lovers
Fragrant as the elderberry wine
As we shake off the ashes of winter
bodies will become entwined
I will kiss you and dance through the summer
weaving through this mortal coil
In the autumn we will fall and surrender
merging with the fertile soil

Dancing – she’s laughing
Singing - crying

As we withstand the force of her nature
Fire burns out of control

Walking on this earthen home
Though my mind is blown, scattered and emptied

As we swam through the pools of her sorrow
